what are the benefits?

Reminiscence activities have been shown to improve mood, reduce feelings of isolation and encourage social interaction. Curiosity Case participants can share memories, connect with others and enjoy stimulating conversations that help support overall wellbeing.

How does a face-to-face session work?
In her local area of East Dorset, creator Clare brings a case full of nostalgic curios based around a theme specifically chosen to trigger memories. She presents the items in a fun, theatrical manner, allowing time for participants to handle these and share their memories. All the senses are triggered and music from yesteryear is enjoyed.
