Combining a 20 year background in creative activities with my love of history and experience of working with elderly people, including those in the early stages of their dementia journey, I love bringing the past alive to engage and stimulate.

Music and singing form an integral part of all my sessions, with well known songs from yesteryear to sing along to.  I also believe memories can be unlocked with all the senses, so I not only incorporate props and printed media but scent jars, nostalgic sound effects and news soundbites.
